Sport has always been more than a game for Issiaka Bagayogo.

With over 18 years of experience at the intersection of sport, business and global markets, Issiaka has built a diverse career including global roles at Nike and Canon before founding SportFanga. His professional journey has taken him across different business areas, from Sports Marketing, Sponsorship, Retail, Wholesale and Finance to business process transformation across Europe, Middle East, Africa and global markets.

This journey gave him a broad perspective to see sport differently. Not only as performance and competition but as a force that drives economic opportunity, shapes culture, identity and communities and creates influence and inspiring stories.

Based in the Netherlands, with a background in International Marketing and Finance, Issiaka's African roots and global experience in sport created a deeper ambition: to give back to his community and contribute to the future of African sport.

SportFanga was created from that belief.

Founded by Issiaka Bagayogo, SportFanga brings African cultural intelligence and global sports expertise together, putting athletes at the center and connecting talent, culture and business to create new opportunities for African sport.
